There are enough art camps for kids. Here's one for adults.

YOUR CHANCE TO LEAVE THE KIDS AT HOME, HAVE A DRINK, AND MAKE STUFF.

ALL THE ART WITH NONE OF THE BUGS.

Make as much mess as you want, without having to clean up after yourself. I'll provide as much or as little instruction as you need. Each night will have its own theme, with guided activities but I will also have a pile of art supplies that you can play with at your own pace. See below for themes. Oh, and don't forget to bring some wine.

Dates: June 28th, July 12th, July 26th - Sign up for one night or all three.

Time: 7-9 pm

Location: My comfy living room in Strathearn (South Central Edmonton)

Themes

June 28th: Drawing party! Games and exercises to help you remember what it felt like to draw as a kid.

July 12th: Collage attack! Let's find out how much stuff we can stick to a piece of paper.

July 26th: Print-tastic! Playing with block printing and rubber stamps.

How much or how little you participate in the guided activities is completely up to you.

Some materials that will be available to play with each night:

  • magazines, old books, and old maps for cutting up
  • acrylic and watercolour paints, watercolour pencils, markers, pastels
  • beads from Peru and jewelry making supplies
  • rubber stamps, stickers, gold leaf and other fun random things
  • block printing supplies

Only 4 spots available for each night! Registration closes 48 hours before each class.
